NCSA and Computing for Humanity reaffirm collaboration in a new era of scientific exploration

We are delighted to confirm the ongoing partnership between Computing for Humanity and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA).

We unite for unprecedented Discoveries unleashing the Power of Supercomputing for Breakthrough Research.

Today, we proudly announce the renewed alliance between Computing for Humanity, the visionary organization empowering the world through supercomputing power, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications NCSA (http://www.ncsa.illinois.edu), the forefront of cutting-edge research.  The substance of this renewed partnership is 1.64 petaflops of computing power, contributed system donation, with the NCSA providing hosting services. This is an order of magnitude more computing power than our 2019 prior collaborative effort. NCSA and Computing for Humanity will collaborate on selecting projects to run on this new infrastructure.

This substantial collaboration advances Computing for Humanity's mission that no human advancement should be waiting in line for computing time!
